Schema Markup Generator
Build JSON-LD for seven schema types, checked by the same rules as our validator before you copy it.
Which schema types matter in 2026
The generator builds JSON-LD for seven types: Organization, Article, Product, LocalBusiness, SoftwareApplication, BreadcrumbList and FAQPage. Google still rewards some of them with visible search features. Others describe your business to search engines without any visible change.
Start with Organization and Article, because every business has them and they carry the author and publisher links that identify you. Add the others where the page is about that thing. Mark up what the page shows, since Google's guidelines say not to mark up content that readers cannot see.
How to use the output
Pick a type, fill the form and copy the JSON-LD. Then:
Paste it into a script tag
Use a script tag with the type application/ld+json. Google reads JSON-LD in the head or the body of the page.
Put Organization on one page
Place Organization markup on your home page or one page that describes the organization. Google says it is not needed on every page.
Match the visible page
Keep every value in line with the visible page. A price in the markup has to match the price a reader sees.
In Webflow
Paste the script into the page's custom code settings, or into an Embed element for CMS pages.
You can put more than one type on a page. Link them with @id values so the Article points to its author and publisher instead of repeating them. The generator builds one type at a time, and its Organization output carries an @id you can point to from your other blocks.
How to test it
The generator runs its output through the same checks as the schema markup validator, so a block that passes there has valid syntax, real schema.org properties and Google's required properties for the type. Two more checks are worth the minute they take.
Paste the code into Google's Rich Results Test, which shows the rich results the markup can generate.
After the page is live, use Search Console's rich result status reports and the URL Inspection tool, which Google recommends for finding markup that templating or serving problems have broken.
The FAQ and HowTo reality
Most generators still list FAQPage and HowTo as features that win rich results. Both are gone from Google Search.
HowTo
In August 2023 Google limited How-to rich results to desktop, and on September 13, 2023 it stopped showing them on desktop too.
FAQPage
The same 2023 post limited FAQ rich results to well-known government and health sites. Google's changelog says the feature stopped appearing in Google Search on May 7, 2026, and the FAQ documentation was removed on June 15, 2026.
Google's 2023 post told site owners they did not need to remove unused markup, because it causes no problems and has no visible effect. The generator therefore still outputs FAQPage, labeled "no Google rich result", for a team that wants its visible questions in machine-readable form. The two tool pages on this site carry FAQPage markup themselves, and we expect nothing from Google for it. Add new FAQ markup for that reason only, and write the questions because readers ask them.

What schema does for AI search
Google's AI features documentation says you do not need special markup, AI text files or new machine readable files to appear in AI Overviews and AI Mode, and that structured data should match the visible text.
The Ahrefs study of pages that added JSON-LD found no major citation change on AI Overviews, AI Mode or ChatGPT, and its authors note the pages were already heavily cited. Schema tells search engines what a page and its organization are, and that is the case for adding it.
Tenpoint's angle
A generator produces correct markup for one page. The harder work is making every page agree on who you are: the same Organization, the same founders and authors, sameAs links to the profiles that identify you, and products described identically everywhere they appear. Tenpoint Labs does that entity and knowledge graph work in our Growth and Scale tiers, and it begins with seeing what AI engines say about you today.

Questions about schema generators
What is a schema markup generator?
A schema markup generator turns a form into JSON-LD that you paste into a page. You pick a type such as Organization or Article, fill in the fields and copy the code. This generator runs its output through the same checks as the schema markup validator on this site.
Which schema types should I add in 2026?
Start with Organization on your home page or an about page, and Article on your posts. Add BreadcrumbList for the page trail, and Product, LocalBusiness or SoftwareApplication where a page is about one. Skip new FAQPage and HowTo markup if you want a Google rich result, because neither earns one.
Where do I put the JSON-LD?
Put it in a script tag with the type application/ld+json. Google reads JSON-LD in the head or the body of a page, and it also reads JSON-LD that JavaScript adds. Google says Organization markup belongs on your home page or a single page that describes the organization, and it is not needed on every page.
How do I test the code I generated?
Paste it into the schema markup validator on this site, then into Google's Rich Results Test to see which rich results it can generate. After the page is live, use the rich result status reports and the URL Inspection tool in Search Console to confirm that Google found the markup.
Is FAQ schema dead?
For Google rich results it is. Google limited FAQ rich results to well-known government and health sites in August 2023 and stopped showing them on May 7, 2026. HowTo rich results left mobile in August 2023 and desktop on September 13, 2023. Both types remain valid schema.org, so the generator still outputs FAQPage, labeled as having no Google rich result.
Can I put more than one schema type on a page?
Yes. Mark up each thing the page shows, and connect the pieces with @id values so an Article points to its author and publisher instead of repeating them. Google's guidelines say to mark up all visible items of a type and to keep the markup in line with the visible text.
Does schema markup make AI engines cite me?
The evidence shows no reliable citation lift. Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode need no special markup, and the Ahrefs study of 1,885 pages that added JSON-LD found no major citation change on AI Overviews, AI Mode or ChatGPT. Add schema so search engines can read who you are and what a page describes.
